My Photography Gear
Camera and Lenses
Fujifilm GFX100S
My main camera body, a medium format digital camera with excellent dynamic range and in-body image stabilization that allows me to shoot handheld at night.
Fujifilm GF30/3.5
A wide angle lens that gets a lot of use for images involving buildings or architecture.
Fujifilm GF45/2.8
My first lens for the Fujifilm GFX system and still my most used lens. A wide/standard focal length with a bright maximum aperture, great for night shooting.
Fujifilm GF63/2.8
A standard focal length for images requiring more emphasis on the subject.
Fujifilm GF100-200/4
A telephoto zoom lens for more reach. I purchased this for landscape photography, but it does not get a lot of use for night shooting.
Laowa 20/4 Zero-D Shift
An ultra-wide lens with shift capabilities for architectural photos and interiors.
Tripod and Accessories
FLM CP30-L4 II 10X Carbon Fiber Series II Tripod
A tall but light tripod that I bring with me on all my shoots.
Really Right Stuff BH-55 Ball Head
A sturdy ball head with easy to manipulate motions.
Really Right Stuff L-plate
Allows easy mounting of the camera in both horizontal and vertical configurations.
Breakthrough Photography Filters
I don’t often use filters for night photography, but I do own Breakthroughs circular polarizer and neutral density filters that I use in certain settings.
Printing
Epson SureColor P900 Photo Printer
Produces outstanding photographic prints up to 17” wide.
Hahnemuhle William Turner Matt Fine Art Paper
A matte paper with a subtle watercolor texture that I use often for color prints.
Canson Infinity Arches 88 Matte Paper
A matte paper with a smooth finish and deep blacks that I use often for black and white or more dramatic prints.
